The 17-year-old "ride or die chick" has escaped dog pounds to be with owner Jason Rambo, according to her competition biography.
"I've had girlfriends over the years and they were jealous of her," Mr Rambo told Today.
"And like I told them, she was here when you came and she'll be here when you leave."
Sweepee, who placed second in 2015, beat some tough Chinese crested competition this year.
Second-placed Josie and third-placed Rue are also of the same breed, keeping it in the family.
Will there be another dog as ugliest as this? Anybody that has one should bring it forward.
